TEUTEREKORDZ
Saturday

70% hip-hop, 30% punk – that’s still the short formula to describe what Teuterekordz is all about. The crew members Arkona, Dispo, Eddy, Lucky, Modus, and Sechser are longtime friends from the gentrified Berlin district of Prenzlauer Berg, where their love of partying, drinking, and general disdain for rules adds some color to the bourgeois daily grind.
“Teute” stands for newschool Atzenrap – something they recently proved once again with their new track “U-Bahn Schacht,” featuring the legendary Berlin party duo “Die Atzen.” But the group’s repertoire also includes emotional rave ballads and technically sharp storytelling verses. Teuterekordz also consistently shows backbone, taking clear stances on issues like housing, climate, and racism. Live, Teuterekordz means demolition with variety and real emotion. Most recently, over 3,000 people attended their year-end and tour finale show at Berlin’s Columbiahalle.
