Juicy Beats Donates 3,670 Euros to the Dortmunder Tafel

The Juicy Beats Festival is continuing its social commitment in 2026 as well: This year, 3,670.41 euros were raised for the Dortmunder Tafel through the guest list. Despite the festival’s one-day format, this amount exceeded last year’s donation.

For many years now, proceeds from the guest list have been going to social organizations in Dortmund. The Dortmunder Tafel is one of the festival’s long-standing partners and uses the donations where they are most urgently needed.

During the donation handover, the Tafel emphasized just how important such support is right now. The demand for food remains high. At the same time, the challenges of procuring food are increasing. In addition to traditional food donations, the food bank is now increasingly working directly with producers to save food that would otherwise be destroyed.

“Especially in times of rising living costs, we’re delighted that we can make a contribution together with our guests,” says organizer Carsten Helmich. “The fact that we were able to collect more donations than last year despite the one-day festival format demonstrates the great solidarity of our visitors.”

The Juicy Beats Festival would like to thank all guests on the guest list who, through their donations, helped support the important work of the Dortmund Food Bank. Together, we’re showing that festivals and social engagement go hand in hand.
