Dammnation is probably the most brutal new band on the scene. Dripping, honest instrumental funk that makes you push your lips forward, that makes you groove, that loosens the dam and simply lets the energy flow.

Dammnation is music for perineal massage, with a nod in the direction of Meters and the late Grant Green. One moment we’re dancing and sweating in a club somewhere in New York that’s far too cramped and the air far too stuffy, the next we’re sitting on the west coast of Sardinia, drinking Campari Spritz with a slice of lemon, gazing dreamily into the sunset and humming schmaltzy Italian songs about love.
