With purity and sensitive masculinity the Swedes blend sub-genres such as drum & bass,
dance and grunge with rap in a seamless manner.
Following the release of two singles, each accompanied by its own radical videos last year,
the twin duo proceeded to unveil their debut project titled ‘Among Heads’ together with
producers and longtime collaborators Richard Zastenker and Johannes Klahr (Drake, Lady
Gaga, Swedish House Mafia). The success of this project resulted in a European tour and a coveted slot as the opening act for the renowned band ‘Gorillaz’. Additiornally, the duo garnered a nomination for the highly
regarded Swedish Grammis for ‘best alternative pop’. This year, Deki Alem is poised to release their highly anticipated project ‘Fluent Stutter’ and embark on a 20-date festival tour this summer, playing festivals such as The Great Escape, Roskilde, Pukkelpop and Lowlands.
