Roll down the windows, turn up the radio, and just head toward the horizon. And if, in reality, that endless highway turns out to be just the B1 again: East Ends provide the soundtrack to make it feel like freedom anyway. Since 2013, the indie band from Dortmund has been blending melancholic guitars with catchy hooks into a warm, feel-good sound with a healthy dose of 2000s nostalgia. The whole thing sounds a bit like The Cure and Jimmy Eat World sharing a rusty rental car.
