Flashbaxx (Stenger)

Since his discovery by the Mainz-based lounge label Wohnton in 2003, Flashbaxx has been a constant presence on international compilations, with releases on Sony Music, EMI, and Ministry of Sound. His productions have appeared alongside artists such as Moby, Jazzanova, Blank & Jones, Bonobo, and Die Fantastischen Vier, and regularly find their way into the record bags of influential DJs including Rainer Trüby (Compost), Robert Luis (Tru Thoughts), and Mark Farina (OM Records, US). His EP “Take Care My Friend” (NuNorthern Soul, UK / 2022) received strong support across the scene, followed by a remix EP in 2023 featuring contributions from Atjazz and Moods. Flashbaxx’s DJ sets are built for the dancefloor, smoothly moving between downbeat, disco, and house, while weaving in elements of boogie, jazz, and funk. Since 2024, he has also been performing as an electronic live act, presenting high-energy mash-ups of disco and house classics. These performances quickly led him to legendary Berlin venues such as KitKat and Heideglühen. In June 2025, selected tracks from his live set were released on the newly founded Leipzig label Groovers Trax. With the “Gazelle” EP, Flashbaxx delivered a straight-forward, no-compromise house release with a distinct disco twist, earning support from DJs such as Mousse T. (Peppermint Jam), Johannes Albert (Frank Music), Woody (Heideglühen), and Cinthie (803 Crystal Grooves). In 2026, he was commissioned as a remixer for Christian Prommer (Compost) and Satin Jackets, releasing his version alongside Erobique and Johannes Albert on the same record.
