Dreamy sounds and “those spacey vibes,” as she likes to call them, are the 24-year-old’s trademark. The artist, who has Aramaic roots, was born in Paderborn and grew up in a nearby small town. Leya discovered her love for music at a very early age, and her parents gave her a karaoke machine when she was about four years old. From that day on, she was hooked. By the age of 13, she was already writing her first song lyrics, and in 2016 she had her first opportunity to record in a professional studio. LEYA’s childhood wasn’t easy, which is why she continues to process all her problems and worries through her lyrics and, ultimately, her music to this day.
