TULPE is a young German rock band that represents a new generation of rock: vulnerable, unorthodox, and self-assured all at once. Following their performances at Rock am Ring and Rock im Park, the band has gathered a rapidly growing community that appreciates them not only for their electrifying live shows but also for their clear stances: against shaming, against the pressure to conform, and in favor of individuality, emotional openness, and collective strength. The band, led by lead singer and songwriter Joachim Foerster, combines raw rock energy with a contemporary sound sensibility and tackles topics like identity, freedom, and the courage to refuse to be molded—sometimes with humor, sometimes in a heart-wrenching way. Every song is a declaration of war on bitterness.
