“Is Luisa here?”

Awareness at Juicy Beats Festival 💜

Juicy Beats Festival should be a place for great music and carefree festival moments. But if you ever feel uncomfortable or unsafe, we have an awareness concept in place to provide quick and discreet support.

That’s why we are once again working together with the City of Dortmund on the awareness concept “Is Luisa here?”.

When can I get help?

For example if:

  • you feel uncomfortable or harassed
  • someone crosses your boundaries
  • you feel unsafe or threatened
  • you need support in the middle of the festival crowd

How does the concept work?

If you need help, you can go to any drinks stand on the festival site and say:

“Is Luisa here?”

The staff will understand the code phrase, help you discreetly and contact our awareness team.

Our awareness team

The awareness team will be present throughout the entire festival and can easily be recognized by their purple vests. In addition, there will be a fixed safer space on site that you can turn to at any time. You can find it on the festival map under the following symbol:

The aim of the concept is to provide discreet and safe support directly on site.

The Youth Welfare Office of the City of Dortmund, together with the festival management, has developed an awareness concept and a code of conduct for Juicy Beats. “Is Luisa here?” is a campaign by Frauen-Notruf Münster e.V. and part of the awareness concept. Thank you for the valuable support.
